What is a statutory declaration?
These are documents sworn on oath used to allow a person to declare something to be true for the purposes of satisfying some legal requirement or regulation when no other evidence is available.
Why do I need it?
- To make clarification as to why a document presented differs in content from what is expected.
- To clarify on a matter when you are not there in person.
- To verify on any information you may have given that has not been understood.
How do I get it in Uganda?
When you submit the form on the right, ASB advocates will contact you and later email you a form that you can fill. With the information collected, we will process your statutory declaration. This process could take up to 3 days.
