Nuwagaba John Paul

John Paul is an Advocate of the Courts of Judicature in Uganda.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University in Kampala, a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre and a Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation and Revenue Administration from the East African School of Taxation in Kampala.

He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Oil and Gas at the Uganda Christian University. John Paul specializes in tax practice. His practice areas range from international tax, transfer pricing and general domestic tax practice. Outside the office, John Paul is a philanthropist and a passionate rugby and football fan. He has served in various capacities at Black Pirates Rugby Football Club in Uganda leading it to its domestic trophy double in 2025. He is a member of St. Paul’s Family based in Bwenkoma-Mbarara, a laity group devoted to improving the welfare of the elderly.
